Around ten years ago ESCBAS (Alex Bienstock) walked into the painting studio of TPW (Stefan Frederic Walz), they spoke briefly and then instantaneously made this beautiful & quirky improvisation recorded on a cheap tape recorder. They used whatever instruments and gear were handy in the studio (some acoustic guitars, an electric guitar, a few keyboards, a boombox, a television; a small drumset, & even their own voices). This was years before they would form the highly revered noise group, GERMAN. This tape has sat around for ten years in a safe VNR media storage case, and only a snippet was ever released on a Various Artists compilation cassette. So we are pleased to bring it to the internet in its entirety with no edits, just straight raw magnetic oxide for your ears. Enjoy!
